Waffle Queen Review

The apple apps market is full of puzzle games, so many that even a lot of good ones disappear in the sea of submissions.  Thankfully Waffle Queen rises out of this as something unique and different.  Combining the simplicity of get the highest score with newer combo totalling elements it stands out as both different and engaging.  


In the game you play as the Queen's Waffle Chef.  Your job is to top the waffles with a variety of delicious toppings and send them down the table for her to devour.  There are powerups to aid you and the ability to combine rows of ingredients in an attempt to quench her hunger.  The Queen will only stay satisfied for so long, as her hunger grows, so does her temper.  If this temper hits its limit it is "OFF WITH YOUR HEAD" and a brutal game over for yet another Waffle Chef.

Waffle Queen's unique theme and brilliant artwork, are reason enough to purchase the game, however the game play is also engaging and highly addictive.  It is well worth the investment and is a prime example of a puzzle game that stands out from the rest.  Fast, frantic and fun Waffle Queen is a must buy for anyone with an ipod/ iphone.
